downloadxAIPrivacy Policy
The short version: no accounts, no tracking pixels, no stored videos, no download history. Your theme preference lives in your own browser. That's the whole policy, but here's the long version for the lawyers.
1. What we collect
- Links you paste — processed in memory to resolve the video address, then discarded. Never written to a database, never logged with your identity.
- Standard server logs — our hosting provider (Vercel) may temporarily record IP addresses and request metadata for security and abuse prevention, per their own privacy policy.
- Theme preference — stored in your browser's localStorage only. It never leaves your device.
2. What we never collect
- Names, emails, accounts, passwords — there is no sign-up system at all.
- The videos you download. Files travel directly from the source platform to your device.
- Browsing history, fingerprinting data, or cross-site tracking identifiers.
3. Cookies
downloadxAI itself sets no tracking cookies. If we ever introduce analytics or advertising, this policy will be updated and a consent banner will be shown to EU/EEA visitors before any non-essential cookie is set.
4. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Because we hold no personal data tied to you, there is generally nothing to access, correct, or delete. If you believe we hold data about you anyway, email support@videodownloaderai.com and we will respond within 30 days.
5. Age restriction
downloadxAI is intended for adults (18+, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly process any data from minors.
6. Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll note it here with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
